When a homeowner pitches in to rob his own apartment, the real dramedy begins in this quirky new short from Ballard C. Boyd. Night Session flips the script on your typical crime caper. Instead of a getaway car and a bag full of loot, we get a living room therapy session between a down-on-his-luck thief and a man who’s just trying to make sense of his broken marriage.
With Richard Kind leading the cast and a plot that’s equal parts heist and healing, Boyd’s sharp direction and offbeat humor in this 11-minute gem have already snagged awards across the festival circuit.
Boyd is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning director and producer, based in New York City. He is a longtime producer and segment director at The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where he has directed over 200 segments. He is making his feature directorial debut with Jackrabbit, a mystery-comedy-thriller set in NYC that is currently in postproduction.
Enjoy the film!

That was wonderful. Very nicely understated. A little gem.
What a perfect little film! Great script, music and directing . Both Kind and Miles are brilliant in it.
