When the brand-new 12,350-pound “Constellation Ball” is dramatically lowered on December 31, you’ll definitely want to be part of the fun! Even if you can’t attend this historic NYE event in person, your personal hopes, dreams, and wishes can still soar into the New Year as actual pieces of the tons of colorful “Wishfetti” showered over Times Square at the stroke of midnight.
How? Organizers of this year’s Times Square New Year celebration once again unveiled the official New Year's Eve Wishing Wall which gives people the chance to write their wishes for 2026 on pieces of confetti. This unique, once-a-year opportunity is always free.
The “wishfetti” will be released simultaneously from the tops of eight of the tallest buildings in Times Square at the stroke of midnight during the traditional NYC celebration that is watched live around the world.

There are two ways to submit your wishes in the Times Square Confetti Blast:
1. Visit the "Wishing Wall" in person
For people visiting Times Square in-person, the Wishing Wall is located on one of Times Square's Broadway plazas between 45th and 46th Streets, every day until December 29 from 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
2. Submit your wishes online
Wishes can also be submitted virtually. To participate online, confetti wishes can be uploaded from the Times Square New Year's Eve Virtual Wishing Wall site. Wishes can also be submitted on X and Instagram using #ConfettiWish. They will be added to the thousands of others released above Times Square at midnight on New Year's Eve for all the world to see!
Each wish collected before December 29 via the Wishing Wall in Times Square -- or submitted online before December 28 -- will be printed on a piece of confetti and become part of the 3,000 pounds of confetti released at midnight in Times Square on New Year's Eve! (Any wishes received online after December 28 will be printed out and saved for next year’s NYE celebration.)
Watch the Ball Drop and Wishfetti Blast LIVE!
If you can’t be here in person, tune in to the free Live Webcast from Times Square to enjoy all the fun, beginning at 6 PM ET, Wednesday, December 31.
