You can mix a double gin martini in 3-4 minutes, including chilling the cocktail glass and preparing the olive and lemon garnish. So, you can either make a martini or you can watch this tiny movie in the same amount of time. Or you can do both!

“Jitaku” (2021), this month’s One Martini Movie, weaves together 50 scenes from 30 countries in an intimate tour around the world using videos of outdoor views recorded through the windows of people’s private homes.

The digital video clips in "Jitaku" were curated from the thousands that have been submitted to the wildly popular WindowSwap site, based in Singapore.

The movie is set to an eclectic jazz composition by Swiss musician Anicia Kohler and musically interpreted by harpist Julie Campiche and her husband, bassist Emmanuel Hagmann from Geneva. Choral accompaniment is provided by the digital choir “Vignettes At Home.”

This unique movie was directed by Uttara Krishnadas and produced by Sonali Ranjit and Vaishnav Balasubramaniam, creators of WindowSwap.
